Reibert x Stargate commission - full Illustration + Bertolt Clothes visdev

I thought it would be interesting to share this illustration with you, especially because I had to make lot of visual development searches before the end piece !! 🙇‍♀️ The request was to create a piece with a desert outfit for Bertolt. I got inspiration from the Stargate Lore, I also tried to respect the real desert culture and at the same time tried to bring my vision of the story and aesthetic of the person who commissioned me ! I’m rather happy with all these visual development searches I made, even if at the end, I chose to paint an end version rather simple, I removed lot of clothes to match better with the vision of the person, but it’s a process rather normal in concept art/vis dev searches ! I’m really satisfied with this searches and I probably will find a little space for them if I make a new portfolio for animation studios at the future ! 🥰 oh, I admit adding Reiner and the crowd was my free initiative, I’m too passionate with my job and my love for these characters is infinite, even when I work for someone ! hahaha 🙈😳
