Mikasa & the Bird HardEnamel Pin - from my first idea to the end design 🥳

Hi dear patrons ! I hope you had a lovely week end ! To my part I was a little silent because to be honest, I suffered a lot in my searches to FINALLY make come real my Reibert enamel pin and this Mikasa enamel pin (that I have the joy to introduce you today ! 🥳🥰)

seriously, it’s also why i love this patreon, its a perfect way to me to tall my experiences with my creations and backstages, and I really have to say creating enamel pins is pretty hard for real, and i hope my problems are done ! ( pray with me please haha ) . To be honest there are so much important things we have to know when we create a design for enamel, and it can be different from a manu to another. Also, it’s hard to imagine the end rendering cause plate in real life have a color and effects impossible to put in our design. It’s difficult to find the best and worth manu, and other artists ( and i can understand/respect this) give really few precise informations on socials about them and I’m too shy to dare to ask directly to be honest…😳🥹 there also are lot of other subtilities to learn. Pantone color, what are the technicals and details the most expensive, transform a design to a good verctorized version etc… I had to resolve myself to open Illustrator again yesterday after …something like more of ten years without to open this terrible soft ? Hahaha 😭💦

All of these made me crazy for weeks and i almost was about to cancel to be honest …but I think i’m finally ready to try again and to send to a new manu my two Reibert and Mikasa designs this week ! Wish me good luck ! When I’ll finally get good proofs, I’ll share them with you ! 🙏🏻🥹

Anyway, i hope you’ll joy this little Mikasa design, I’m really excited because this idea was in my mind since you saw the original idea in 2024 ! I’m still hesitating with some end details as the color for the plate, fee free to give your opinion, and I’ll probably ask to the manu to show me several options ! ❤️

To conclude, enamel pin creation is such an unique, difficult but fulfilling adventures, nothing sure, feel free to give your opinion, and I obviously wait to receive my pins, but I’m thinking about the possibility to write a full complete tutorial in this patreon to help you too ! 😤 i’ll talk again later with you about this and the other potential tutorials I would like maybe to propose in this patreon at the future, still with my usual content ! 🥰
