Season2 Reibert plushies - Bertolt corrections

Hello dear Patrons, I didn’t manage to post here this week end while the Reibert Japanese event « TBFF », so I’m gonna be talkative while the hours/days incoming ! 🙇‍♀️ I start with news of my Season 2 Reibert plushies project ! It’s been some month since I launch the production of my plushies with the manufacturer, but the project still exists !! But the most ambitious projects like this one ask more time and organisation, especially because I’m working alone with passion, so to be honest, when I received the first sample from the manu, I needed time to send them my feedback ( I’m really lucky, they are really kind and patient ) …and I finally sent my corrections to the manu the last night and I’m happy to share this backstage with you ! 😳

Let me explain what you see here ! You can see on the two last sheets what they did while their first try, and the rest are photomontages I did from their pics to explain them what changes I would like they do ! As you can see, there are lot of big changes to make, it’s why I did these visual photomontage to help them even more ! 🤔 To be honest when I received the sample, they had sent only the Bertolt with clothes first, and my first reaction was …I got scared hahaha, I literally thought it was catastrophic 💦 but in hindsight, I also realised their pic is badly took. We can see with the naked Bertolt that yes, he’s not perfect but he looks less like a fish than I was thinking hahahaha and he already has some qualities ! Look at how his body is cute and funny ! 😭 and I’m also really happy with the color of his skin !!

After asking opinion of my mother (she is like a coach, she often helps and supports my projects 😄) we concluded it wasn’t so bad. They need to work a lot again, especially for clothes ( they look like a dress or idk what exactly 🙈😅), and the face and the cut of hair really need more care too, but the base is already good ! Now, we just have to make all of these really more cute and really looking like my first concept & Bertolt Hoover !! 😤🔥 anyway I admit I’m really reassured now and I’m happy with these photomontages, if they follow this correctly, I think the second try will be really, really better and I’m already really excited ! 🥳

So, this is a big WIP, but I thought it would be interesting to share this with you, with the progress, the joys, difficulties and learning that this project makes me live !! I’ll also share with you really soon the corrections for Reiner ! 🙏🏻☺️
