Let's Hang out! - Monthly Patron Hangout

This month's patron hangout is on Saturday, October 22, from 1 to 3 p.m. Eastern US time. Adult Dragon patrons and above can find the Zoom link in the $25+ Patron Rewards post linked above.

What is this hangout all about? Basically, it's just me and other patrons hanging out over Zoom and talking about D&D, life, and whatever topics occur to us. Usually a few members of the DM Lair team are there, too. It's a cool chance meet the people behind the names and shoot the breeze with us. :D

This month's issue delivers the following 5e-compatible resources:

• The Haunted Dead | New Monsters - Ten new undead to terrorize characters with, ranging from CR 1 to CR 10. The revenant aberrant, prideful revenant, reincarnated revenant, veli, bitter veli, yearning veli, velu mate, celestial wight, enraged wight, and mournful wight.
• Undead and Unhinged | Encounters - Five encounters complete with digital maps featuring the Haunted Undead and designed for levels three to six.
• Turning Undead | Undead Templates - Ten templates that you can apply to any creature to create a new undead monstrosity. Ghoul, mummy, revenant, shadow, skeleton, specter, vampire spawn, wight, wraith, and zombie.
• An Undead Angel's Fury Adventure Arc - Three adventures designed to played sequentially, featuring the new Haunted Dead, and designed for parties level three through five.
• Undead at the Walls - Level-3 fifth-edition adventure.
  Undead attacks and battles are a dime a dozen for most adventuring parties. They tend to cut their teeth delving into a dungeon filled with animated skeletons and shambling zombies. The same can’t be said for most townsfolk; the undead tend to kill them. Well, no matter. Adventurers can repel all the undead before they break into the
  city, right?
• Attacked from Within - Level-4 fifth-edition adventure.
  Investigations are part and parcel of a guardsman. Of course, when a city loses most of its guard forces and is faced with investigating something that they can’t handle, they’ll often turn to a rag-tag band of adventurers for help. Will the adventurers be able to find the right culprit, or will an innocent man hang for someone else’s crimes?
• The Fall of Alaric - Level-5 fifth-edition adventure.
  All things must come to an end. Such is the way of the world; all battles end, all crimes end, and eventually, everything ends. But when that end is unnatural, and the thing that is ending is an angel, the end can often just be the beginning of a dark tale. That is why the world has adventurers, though, right? To make sure that dark tale also has an ending?

Map Pack 17: Horror - $15+ patrons
This month's map pack is themed around horror. It contains 4 ten-room "dungeon" maps and 6 "encounter" maps. Each map comes as an image file with both gridded and non-gridded versions and both low- and high-resolution versions. (So four versions of each map.)

Hellish Prison Blues (level-13 fifth-edition adventure) - $25+ patrons
The planar balance has begun to shift as the lords of the Hells have discovered a new weapon to use against their enemies. Refined within a dark, buried prison, this weapon comes from a most unnerving source: mortals. As their contracts come due, more and more people have begun to disappear, and the devils only grow stronger. Now it is up to an intrepid band of adventurers to investigate the disappearances, stroll into the Hells, and stop this madness before it goes too far. Will they be heroes of freedom or end up soulless prisoners like the rest?
The adventure comes with digital maps for online play.
