¡Hola! Aquí llega el primer producto de RichMaps: la versión en inglés de Final Paradox. Podéis ver el tráiler aquí. Aunque estemos por debajo de la meta de mantenimiento del Patreon, este no será el último proyecto que lancemos; pronto llegarán otros, empezando por Sunset Dreams 1.5, que está recibiendo los últimos retoques en este mismo momento.

En cualquier caso, no podemos olvidar que estamos en una situación económica precaria. La traducción de Final Paradox es una apuesta por fortalecer nuestra iniciativa de mapmaking hispano. Queremos llevar este mapa al público anglosajón para atraer más gente, crecer y estabilizar RichMaps: los builders y programadores de Command Blocks colaboradores se merecen un trabajo seguro.

Final Paradox es una joya del mapmaking hispano, por eso no hay mejor buque insignia para invitar a la comunidad angloparlante a apoyarnos. El compromiso de RichMaps con el mapmaking hispano es fuerte, visto que estamos operando con normalidad incluso en números rojos. Queremos seguir creando experiencias increíbles en Minecraft: Java Edition, pero para eso necesitamos más ayuda. Con suerte, una nueva oleada de jugadores llegará con el lanzamiento de esta traducción. La versión inglesa de Final Paradox ha sido muy esperada entre los fanáticos de los CTM; pues bien, ha llegado la hora de que nuestros amigos puedan disfrutar de este grandioso mapa.

Si acaso este esfuerzo promocional no llega a tener el impacto esperado —no llegando mecenas angloparlantes, en consecuencia—, advierto ya del primer recorte en los costes de operación. Hasta el momento, todo el contenido de ámbito potencialmente internacional del Patreon de RichMaps ha sido traducido al inglés —12 de los 15 artículos publicados desde el lanzamiento en febrero de 2023—. Estas traducciones profesionales consumen recursos en forma de tiempo y dinero. Así, si no hay suficientes lectores fuera de Iberoamérica, los posts pasarán a estar solo en castellano.

Así que aprovechad a jugar Final Paradox con vuestros amigos de habla inglesa e invitadlos a conocer RichMaps. Recordad que el mapa tiene un excelente soporte multijugador y que, dado que las traducciones se cargan desde el menú del juego, podéis jugar simultáneamente en inglés y en castellano. Daos prisa, porque en el próximo post, que ya es inminente, anunciaré la fecha de salida de Sunset Dreams 1.5. ¡Hasta entonces!

Even though we are below the maintenance goal in this Patreon, this launch won't be the last; there will be more soon, starting with Sunset Dreams 1.5, which is receiving its final tweaks right now.

Anyways, we can't forget that we are in a dire economic position. Final Paradox's translation is a bet to strengthen our Hispanic mapmaking initiative. We want to take the map to the English-speaking audience to bring more people so we can grow and stabilize RichMaps: the builders and commandblockers collaborating with us deserve a steady job.

Final Paradox is a jewel of the Hispanic mapmaking, thus there's no better flagship in order to invite the English-speaking community to join and support us. RichMaps' compromise with Hispanic mapmaking is strong; for example, we are operating with normalcy even in red numbers. We want to keep creating unique experiences in Minecraft: Java Edition but we need more help. Hopefully, a new wave of players will arrive with this translation. The English version of Final Paradox has been highly anticipated among CMT fans; well, it's time for our friends to enjoy this great map.

In the event that this promotional effort doesn't have the desired effect—for example, if new patrons don't join—, I'm hereby giving notice of the first cut to our operation costs. So far, all content of potential international scope in RichMaps' Patreon has been translated to English—12 out of 15 posts published since its opening in February 2023. These translations consume resources in the form of time and money. Therefore, if there aren't enough readers outside of Iberoamerica, future posts will only be available in Spanish.

So, make the most to play Final Paradox with your English-speaking friends and present RichMaps to them. Remember that the map has an excellent multiplayer system and that, given that translations are loaded from the in-game menu, you can simultaneously play in Spanish and English.
