I really enjoyed this update, Sam, thanks. My (expensive) road to hardware synths is pretty similar. I got into Reason about 20 years ago, but now have six hardware synths that I can't really play. I got Cubase a year ago (with a view to sequencing and recording), but I find it impenetrable.
