Excuse the weird crop, it's to try to further censor the image to non-patrons.

So, you guys wanting a secret surprise won the popular vote for the last Pre-Ch9 update.

I went back through the comic and thought about everything you guys 100% don't know anything about, but every moment just seemed like it wasn't worth spoiling. And those that didn't want to see the secret surprise seemed very against spoilers.

As a compromise, I'm revealing something you guys knew would happen eventually, but didn't know how, when, or what it was like.

Chapter 9 will introduce Vlad's Awakening Form! I turned off the effects, lighting, and background so you can have a clearer view of it. This shot also doesn't show his face, so we can retain a smidge more of that mystery before his debut.

Chapter 9 drops this Friday! Until then, keep it fizzy!
