5YL UPDATE #62 - Disco Party at the End of the World! + Small Ramble

After his conversation with Eon about the limitless uses for Ecto-Energy, Vlad steps up his game in Chapter 9! 

Thankfully, my new stylus allows me to actually draw it. Made a huge dent on the Chapter this week. The clock is slowly ticking down until Ch9 releases!

Please don't quote me on this, but the latest I can see it coming out is the summer, but perhaps earlier. 

Honestly, I was trying to get it out by April 3rd, to celebrate the three-year anniversary of 5YL, along with DP's 16th anniversary. That's 14 days from now. I think I can make it, but that would involve dropping all other projects to focus on it (YouTube, Commissions, other Clients). Either that, or I just don't sleep. Maybe both?

But some parts of the Chapter that isn't illustrated yet have scenes and characters that haven't even been designed. And of course, we have to spend time promoting it, too. So even if I had time to physically draw the remaining pages, I'm still lacking official designs and a marketing strategy. 

There's also the option of cutting the Chapter short yet again, but I'm kinda tired of not releasing the Chapters how I please in order to make a time-frame no one was even aware of... well, until now.

I've only released this information to you Patrons because you took the extra step to help support us, and we really appreciate it. But again, please, do not tell any non-patrons that there is a potential release date. I may just say 'screw the special date' and continue to work on it for quality's sake and release it this summer. But, we'll see what happens. So you can expect it to drop between April and June.
