5YL UPDATE #40 - FIRST LOOK AT CHAPTER 9! (Also $5+ Notice)

So, the working title for this one is 'Reborn'. Well, actually, that was Chapter 8's working title. This one is...well, perhaps I shouldn't say.

Anyways, this scene was actually written to start off Chapter 8 back when it was supposed to be 100 pages, as a call-back to the "This is my story" narrative that will continue to echo throughout the book.

When Chapter 8 was cut in half, this opening didn't make much sense as more of Vlad's focus comes later. So the cold-open with Eon and Dr. Animo, which was actually meant to be shown as a flashback after Eon goes Ultimate, was swapped to replace that scene and was shown in "real time".

I still will probably use this speech somewhere, but who knows? It may not be right for Chapter 9, either.

No matter what happens, You guys get it here first!
