Added 2019-02-20 22:30:38 +0000 UTCAs we continue to move further along the production of 5YL, it makes me think about the important of things staying on-model. I think it's fine for characters or objects to go off-model as long as they are still recognizable. For instance, when drawing Mickey Mouse, you can have the shape of his eyes change from circles to ovals all you want, but the shape of his ears MUST be perfect circles and NEVER be presented from a side-view. Recognizing the key elements to a character is very important when drawing them over-and-over.
