ep 19 - the system is ricketing with ajay singh chaudhary

here's (most of) a discussion i had with the author of one of my favorite books i've ever read, the exhausted of the earth: politics in a burning world! we talked about violence, care work, and what one does to act politically in a time when political repression is a front-page news item. how do your make your community garden political, and not just a garden? what does it mean to work in "extralegal" ways?

a second part of this interview will be uploaded at a later date, stay tuned!

I loved the tidbit about repression. I recently interviewed the editors of the new No Cop City anthology for Prism and an editor, Mariah Parker, emphasized the state repression against pro-Palestine student organizers affirms how powerful and afraid the state is of the movement

Finally coming back to this! I’m about half way through Exhausted of the Earth from your recommendation. It’s such a grounding text
