GENERAL UPDATES
Since the last Newsletter I have applied to Anthro New England (Boston, MA: Jan 16 - 19). I have also made the decision to accept the invitation to vend at Another Furry Con (Ontario, CA: Sept 27 - 29) for a shared table with Hyacinthine Art! Catch us at this con’s first year in late September!
Planned applications on the schedule: Midwest Furfest (Rosemont, IL: Dec 5 - 8), which actually opens today! We should know the results in approximately 3-4 weeks!
My next upcoming con is Denfur in Denver, CO between August 23-25! I will be working in the Dealer’s Den (Table #TBD) all three days and have a handful of new items available! Swing by for a patron-exclusive pin for members of the Zratreon, check out the Shark Sketch Jam physical merch items and say hi while I’m visiting Colorado!
If you haven’t noticed already, the Sticker Club was blessed with a bonus sticker for getting halfway through the year together! If you are already a member, you will be receiving both stickers alongside new folks joining or upgrading between July 16 - August 30!
“See you later, Skater Gator” and “Bike a Mile, Crocodile” make up the ultimate summer combo – thank you all for making the Sticker Club such a fun success each month! All Sticker Clubs have gone out the door and you can expect to start seeing yours early next week!
PapaBarks has been a force since its kickoff on July 12th! With the month-long streaming event hitting it’s halfway point, let’s take a look at some number updates.
In just two weeks of this event’s start, PapaBarks has raised over $35,000! Our campaign has managed to raise $3000 so far and we are still running full speed to our goal of $5000!
Slots for the Movie Theater YCH are currently $45 and seats are still available for newcomers – click here to see how to donate and where to send your reference to join this project and help raise funds for ALS United North Carolina!
As noted in the last newsletter, July and August are the months I try my best to slow down a little from my very busy schedule! I would say I am… doing about 50% resting and 50% chaos (mostly charity work so no one can sass me too hard right?!)
AnthroCon was such a treat this past month – my Mom had a blast meeting so many of your wonderful faces and she is planning to attend AC 2025 if everything works out schedule wise! Thank you all for showing her the best parts of this community – she has known about furries for the majority of my life and it was such an experience to share my work and friends with her.
I had a friend visit this past week and spending every day eating my favorite foods and exploring all the coffeeshops in my neighborhood was healing! I deeply love the Pacific Northwest and enjoying it with someone who was also enamored with Portland at first sight was a treat!
The primary thing on my low-key summer plate is finalizing everything for a shop drop sometime in August! Most of the listings just need a little cleaning, but expect to see some updates moving on that in the next week or so.
And on that note, I’ll see a few of you at Denfur but otherwise we will continue to party together as we move through the final stretch of the summer months. Stay cool out there lovelies!
