Interesting add to his point about speed limiters: it's not just top speed that causes harm but rate of acceleration. I've seen gnarly accidents in my neighborhood from people accelerating fast out of turns. I think limiting the top speed or rate of acceleration is quite unpopular so increasing safety by other means might be more effective

Is it possible to push cell phone companies to make more walls to stop people from using them while driving? Are the cell phone companies passing the buck on safety to the car companies to make there products safe to use while driving?
