As someone who's always respected Cammisa's work, I wonder if in time he may look back on his Cybertruck video (and the accompanying Carmudgeon podcast) with regret. It felt like he just accepted Tesla's word on so many things without fact-checking; another example, the way the battery pack splits from 800v to two 400v packs isn't new, GM do this, yet Jason seemed to think it was a first.

The thing that frustrated me the most with Cammisa's video was his praising of the trucks "exoskeleton". It doesn't have an exoskeleton, because it has a skeleton! The whole idea was this thing would be so easy to build because you just cut out the panels and bend them in a press brake. It's not that at all, it's like a ridgeline with a very very normal unibody structure. There are the big aluminum castings, that's a tesla thing, but otherwise very normal structure!
