Eric has been featured in numerous publications such as this feature in Hodinkee and last month's profile in Esquire . Eric is a globally recognized expert in vintage watch collecting. We recently sat down with the founders of NODUS watches to talk about entry level watches and microbrands, and in this episode, Matt and Eric will go the other way, talking about collector grade timepieces. they are designed to resist impact and shocks like that. People have done actual tests on automatics and they are much more durable than people think. And an entry level Seiko isn't that much to service anyway. You just buy a new movement for 80 bucks at the worst.

2023-11-26 22:59:31 +0000 UTCI can tell you it's a coincidence. They don't usually regulate that movement any more than spec. I have a lot of Seikos and it's hit or miss. I prefer them to be fast instead of slow, so I can just pull the crown and let time to catch up to it.
