Dev Report #52 (September 23rd, 2025)

Hey, everyone.

I hope you all had a good week. Mine was relatively decent, I didn't get quite as much done as I wanted to but it was still a productive and positive week.

I finished up render work for the majority of scenes, finalized many script decisions, and finished editing the majority of the renders in photoshop.
Finishing up render work included adding around 80 renders and 4 animations.

This upcoming week will be focused on finishing the render work for the final 3 scenes as well as working towards finishing everything else. Which mostly includes finishing up editing both renders and animations, playtesting, and proofreading.
I'm still not giving any release dates or estimates, but if things continue to go well it shouldn't be too much longer.

I will say that I don't think that it's very likely that Day 37 is released by the end of September.
Last month I stressed myself out by worrying too much about the end of the month and having something out. I've had 'day of' billing for years now so while it does matter, I've given it way more importance in my own mind than it needed to have.

So, I'm doing my best not to think in that framework right now. My mindset recently has been that everyday is a new day, get as much as you can done. I don't let things snowball either way. If I have a bad day I don't try and 'make up' for it the following day. If I have a good day I don't try and beat it the next day. It's been working to keep me centered and on track as of late.

In the past, I absolutely would have tried to lock in having things finished by October. Just due to the stressors of being behind, feeling guilty, wanting to make up for it... I would have decided to neglect other things in my life including my own health to try and have it out. Which always blows up, good intentions fueled by stress that always backfire.
And to be honest? I still feel the urge to try and do that due to those same stressors. Staying away from it though.

Also, this report was a day late. Report 53 will be on Monday the 29th.

And the character sheets for girls in the A-H name range are very close to being finished and posted. I made very good progress on these earlier in the week but that slowed down throughout the week as I dealt with a few sleep / schedule issues but nothing big. Will be posted in the following few days.

By the looks of it the rework will be awesome, but i do hope you focus more on continuing the story over it. That being said it's very easy to see how far you've come into making these animations etc jesus.
