Again he has given release dates, but this time saying its out of his control, it will be released as is by another regardless of its state, well why not do that now...i don't understand that if you can do it in a weeks time, why not now. First, dude, ease up on yourself! The quality of what you've produced so far speaks for itself. Anyone who would prefer a half-assed update just for the sake of getting an update is an idiot. I will go months without playing games with monthly updates, and I've also learned (the hard way) that I should wait to play "Early Access" games on Steam until they are closer to completion. The reason is because I REALLY dislike having to restart a game because of changes made to portions previously released, or when they change the game engine. I have limited free time and I loathe having my time wasted like that. So do what you have to do to make it the way you want it to be. Most of us will still be here. Second, to the complainers, no one is making you pledge each month. Pull your pledge, if you wish, if you're unhappy with the progress. That's your prerogative. But bullying the man into releasing something that is not ready is not good for anyone.

I know some of these guys said take your time, but honestly that's kinda bs. The problem is this is a paid job and all paid jobs require steady consistent progress except an emergency situation. At no time outside of that, should a person be paid for not working. Life doesn't work that way. Not only have you kept subs for many months of delivering no progress, but there hasn't been progress in what, 2-3+ months and very low over 7 months. You don't lose subs on a great game by using a placeholder, workaround, or scene that will change, especially on a known rework in progress. You do lose subs to failing to make numerous June and July deadlines, then on the final put off day today, saying 20 more days for a scene you admit isn't important. That means either: you're making so much off not doing work, you can afford to lose some subs; or you just take excessive periods of no work while claiming you are; or you're riding this out then quitting. But you know you'd save more subs and keep 98% of them subbing even if the work has a placeholder or work around in place, so long as you put out the steady promised content consistently at the release date each month; and yet you continually do not deliver. Obviously those of us who have lived long enough to not automatically take everyone as honest without justification, especially when that someone keeps being disingenuous with his subs, we find the continual choice that hurts you the most, to show that you are not getting the work in to have the content progress stated, or you'd release it to keep subs and the most money. I really do like the game, and have subbed off and on for quite awhile. I would have the entire time had you been honest with us, but you're not doing that and it's unfortunate, as honesty and integrity are the 2 most important things a person has, because they define you, and they can not be taken from you. You only lose them by voluntarily giving them away.

Glad you are getting help if you are and will allow them to help. You have an amazing game so far. It is a game though, and we all know a rework is going, so I don't see any justification to put off 20 days what you said would be out multiple dates in July, with the final one no later than today. If it was a final product, I could see hyperventilating over it to some degree, but not with a known rework. It honestly comes off like dishonesty about progress while intentionally misleading. I'm not saying that's what you are doing, I'm saying some see that as a possible or likely reason behind this repeatedly happening. You're very good and insanely popular, you make a lot of money. I do not see any viable situation where people would be upset with you or unsub, over a rework related scene. I do see people dropping repeatedly over missed deadlines though, lack of content and lack of honesty. But you know that as well and yet it keeps happening, which also looks like your content is not getting done. Content beats all, even what you do not consider it a 10 on content. Just food for thought with the hopes it helps you. I'd be glad to test for you as well.

Okey....this is progress at least. What i would do (only knowing the information you have given here), i would put a warning ahead of the two scenes in question (something like: This scene is a placeholder and will be changed in minor or major ways when the rework of previous chapters are done) and then have those scenes be anything really. Since those scenes are meant to be changed anyway, why focus so much on them? Just make something that is a passible placeholder and publish the rest. We are all aware that this isnt a finished product, so no one would be mad about that. Remember that you as the creator have every right to change anything you want later after publishing. If you do not want to spoil anything it could even be a black screen with text explaning things in a non-spoilery way what the scene is in broad terms. Constantly delaying updates are much more damaging and frustrating for your audience in the long run. If the new timeline causes you this much trouble when making updates, i would also probably recommend you finish the rework before you do anything else (after episode 13 and 14 is out). Just my opinion :)

Others can complain about delays, but I'm not one to sit and angrily count the days since the last update, or the days and weeks until the next. It takes what it takes, don't overthink it. I'm sure EVERYONE can find something in their life to distract them while we wait. I see some people have concerns about their membership and that's understandable. To be honest, my other habits and vices cost far more than my contribution to you. But if complaining and cursing you gets their blood up, they should just quit. Of course, those people will bitch about what I just said... I hope things work out and you get the support you need. I can't even imagine what it takes to develop a quality AVN. I was going to suggest this, or maybe a brief 'flashback' to the content we'd see in the rework. The flashback could be removed, or not, depending how noteworthy it is during the rework (i.e. is it something a whole scene is devoted to, or something said more in passing) and how critical it is that players remember exactly what was said/happened.

For getting over this block - is the change something you could add some explanatory text to the game to address? Something temporary until the rework is done. Eg, the narrator takes the player aside and says "this event references something that is being added/changed from the early story. Here is the information you need to know for it to make sense." It might also be time to just do the rework. If you're having problems like this now, they're likely to get more frequent as you continue adding more content to the game without completing the rework.

If the remodel of the game is causing all the problems I would suggest stopping the new content and finishing the remodel. Then most if not all of the problems are gone.

WVM is one of the best Porn games around. Personally I'd rather have the wait for a more fleshed out update than a rushed buggy janky one. Dont get all work up about having issue… im still supporting. And btw for a suggestion i would tell you to kiss (keep it simple). Getting help is a good idea and try to keep the fun in doing wvm. Its important as a creator to have fun or else you put to much pressure on yourself. Look at other creator (doctor pinkcake, digib, océan) they take as much time as they need to do there update. Think like them, dont put all that stress on yourself. Yes they do more advanced game and I dont compare them to you in technical term, but they have thé right mindset. And wvm is différent and thats good. Anyway keep up the morale and the good work.

Don't get yourself too worked up over things, my guy. I know this game is important to you, but perfection is hard. Sometimes you just gotta let the fall where they are and try to make up for it later. Getting yourself too bogged down now will affect how things turn out later on. The best part about dealing with future problems is that you have time to deal with them, so try not to sweat things too much. Looking forward to what you have to show, either way!

What I think is important is that you have a plan of attack and that it incorporates someone irl that will be in the same room as you holding you accountable. I like that he will be releasing the episodes regardless of how happy you are with them. You can always keep tweaking them and upload it as a bug fix later. If the reason you're not happy with it is reliant on the rework of season 1, then maybe the best course of action is to make it make sense with the current timeline and tweak it after the face and release the new version when the season 1 redo is released, most of us will probably replay the whole game when the redo is out anyway. Also if you need some more playtesters, I might be interested, depending on what technical knowledge is required or if it's just things like typos and such
