煌びやかなシャンデリアの下、静まり返った広間に足音が響く。
視線を感じて振り向くと、漆黒のタキシードを着た男たちが無言で彼女を見つめていた。
「……これが“もてなし”なの？」
胸元を押さえながら、アイズはわずかに息を呑む。
──この屋敷、何かがおかしい。
②「見知らぬ街で、聞こえた足音…」
気づけば、見たこともない服装の自分が、見知らぬ街の路地に立っていた。
鋼鉄の馬車の音、街灯の光、聞き慣れない機械の唸り。
——ここは……どこ？
背後で靴音が止まり、低い声が囁く。
「お嬢ちゃん、迷子かい？」
裾を握りしめながら、アイズは息を呑んだ。
「……戦うしか、ないのね」──
③「静寂の果てで…」
薄暗い神殿跡。砕けた剣の残骸を見つめながら、アイズは静かに腹へと手を当てた。
そこに感じる鼓動が、戦いの終わりを告げているようで――
「……もう、戦わなくていいのかな」

She suddenly finds herself standing in an alleyway in an unfamiliar town, wearing clothes she's never seen before.
The sound of a steel carriage, the glow of a street lamp, the whir of an unfamiliar machine.
