Jason had always hated her. She was his mother’s older sister, a woman of strict discipline. She was a retired nurse, but she still carried herself like she was in charge of a hospital. Unlike Evelyn, who at least tried to be warm sometimes, Victoria never pretended to be anything other than what she was: a bitch.
Victoria stepped inside looking at Jason’s slouched form with thinly veiled disgust.
