Damn, Soga is really coming for that spot of my favorite character here... So, I guess the implication is that Knuckleduster is gonna go after the speedster. Not a bad choice, obviously he would know best how to handle the quirk, but I'm feeling kinda uneasy about it, coz the speedster knew Koichi's name...so, does he know that Knuckleduster is his "Hero", O'Clock? Makes you wonder if he has his eyes on Koichi coz Knuckleduster chose him as apprentice...

2026-02-15 03:07:06 +0000 UTCI haven't kept up with the schedule, and I'm not sure what the best time would be to bring this up. So, I've gotta ask you to please watch Code Geass. I'd really like to hear your thoughts on the topics the show talks about. It's also just a really PEAK show, like it's too PEAK to put into words. Please watch it when you have the time. :)

2026-02-14 04:19:27 +0000 UTCThe towel thing is a bold choice 😂 That would have been something to see... I got completely thrown off by the identity reveal unfortunately. Actually i got it right away but then my brain rejected it for some reason and I thought it was a different hero 💀

2026-02-14 03:44:54 +0000 UTCI'm very excited to talk about this episode! First things first, I'm gonna bring up manga differences from the anime. That villain chasing after Koichi near the end was more similar to Thomas the Tank Engine and not a dog thing. And the mixer event...in the Manga, it was very clear that Rin had vomited and was feeling nauseous. Koichi catching her and getting the towel for her still happened, but he cleaned up the vomit with that towel. Hina still took it and ran away with the towel, but was sucking on the vomit covered towel instead of just "sniffing" it here in the anime. It was apparently something that Horikoshi pointed out as being really gross when he read that in the manga! And for distinction, Horikoshi made MHA, but Betten Court and Furuhashi made Vigilantes. Now, with THAT out of the way, let's talk about the more engaging parts of the episode! Koichi dating stocks are THROUGH THE ROOF and investors are cashing in a hefty profit! So that's Pop, Makoto, and Rin! He's still very kind and charming in a clueless way, so there's plenty to love about the guy! Speaking of the mixer, welcome back Nemuri Kayama aka Midnight! So, the reason Pop was with Midnight for the mixer was because Pop and Makoto had done one prior in the manga to investigate, iirc. And the two of them were filling in for two girls that called out because Midnight has men that are similar to servants to her that charmed the two girls that were planning to attend and they ended up canceling on going to the mixer. Moving on from the mixer, Scar, the one emulating O'Clock, said in the last episode he gave himself that scar to look like his hero. And Knuckleduster's scar is in the same general area on the face. I was wondering if you would've picked up on that before the reveal that he's the former hero O'clock. So since he had that quirk prior, he's well aware of how powerful and dangerous it is. Unfortunately, because the police aren't usually trained to shoot to kill against a perceived threat, they never had any actual chance of stopping him. A part that I really like about what the anime did was that they had the characters speaking in Chinese when Knuckle went to Hong Kong. It was something that works very well in context, but I didn't know how they'd approach it. And now we see that Tamao is recovering well and Knuckle has Soga and his friends for security and keeping her company. So, while we don't see as much of him, Knuckle is still very much present in the show. Just being in the background or behind the scenes, so to speak. He was also talking to that detective that is working with Tsukauchi back in the first season. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like they would be able to do things by the book and succeed against the threat at hand. One last thing that I can think of, idk if it's a running joke or if you're being serious, but Knuckle's wife and Tamao's mom didn't make it. I think the interpretation was that she stayed alive long enough so that Knuckle could get their daughter back safe and sound and then she passed at peace knowing her child has been found and is safe. And yes, Aizawa has in fact made the Hotta brothers' spot his new place to live when he's not home. Thems the rules lol

2026-02-14 03:01:41 +0000 UTCPop actually called her Miss Midnight when they were changing, but it was pretty funny only realizing after she started stripping. I find it interesting that O’Clock was known by the people in Hong Kong by an entirely different name, Hyper Quadfist. That, combined with his clearly moderate ability to speak the language, and the fact that the dealers recognized him so quickly, implies he was somewhat active in China back in the day. We also didn’t know about the Knuckle/O’Clock until now, but there were some things that pointed in that direction. The biggest being his scar, which matches the one the other guy gave himself.
