Its so funny you mention how yuji and kinji work well together, I'm sure you've been shown this already but here's the grades of all the students on academics and jujutsu: https://www.reddit.com/r/Jujutsufolk/comments/17rf39h/rankings_of_jujutsu_high_students_lol/ Also, it's implied that Kirara is trans, it's a heated debate but the only thing the manga shows (spoiler free) is A: panda calls her a guy (hasn't seen her in a year) B: Hakari and her are clearly in some form of relationship which, C: Hakari is not gay as confirmed a little later in the manga. Plus I'm pretty confident other characters other than panda have all used she/her on her so like? Anyways loved Yujis "act dumb... NOT THAT DUMB" moment, and the 3 minute still shot was awesome.

One thing that's true to some extent for all shows but especially true for JJK for me is I never know WHERE the most resonant sequences will come from. The last scene here is a great example cause it's just two guys talking but it ends up being thrilling because of how it all comes together

2026-02-03 03:38:52 +0000 UTCi've read all of jjk and hate most of it but oh my god the direction of the anime is such a treat and every episode looks so cool that i don't even care about not liking the plot. the last scene with hakari and yuji was way more of a normal conversation in the manga but the anime really upped the tension with the continuous shot and by obscuring hakari's face the whole episode until the very end. i saw someone on twitter say that it was like the audience were his lackeys seeing something we weren't supposed to see lol. also yeah, kirara is implied to be trans or at least gender non-conforming. gege even drew a picture of her pre-transition here: https://share.google/images/OcbtTQp11H2iZBkyu

I'd watch this vid if you are at all confused with the whole Yagi death thing and him cursing the Gakuganji, as a non manga reader I'm pretty sure it doesn't spoil anything at least I didn't pick up on anything that we didn't know already but if someone in the comments who has read the manga wants to watch and just comment under confirming its is spoiler free that would be great 😁👌 https://www.instagram.com/reel/DUPHrRuknbm/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== 2. really interesting how they use some scene to show the Yuji and Megumi's personalities without telling like how when they first arrived at the parking garage Yuji lifts the beam out of his way, which shows how he takes things on head first while Megumi choose the just squeeze between like how tends to try and avoid head on battles, another is when they are walking on the road Yuji walks with Megumi in the shadow before moving over to the other side of the road where the sun is and rhythmically taps on the guardrail keeping himself entertained while Megumi keeps to himself in the shadows with his hands in his pockets, a lot like how young Geto and young Gojo walked under the bridge in the opening of season 2 in their diverging paths, their outfits changes as well with Yuji sporting a bright orange hoodie while Megumi goes with a darker tone as he usually does. 3. we get a nice little Gege cameo at 14:52 with the masked man sporting his Avatar. 4. Hikari is definitely inspired by Tyler Durden i mean look at his jacket its basically the exact same as the one he has in the movie

2026-02-03 02:40:54 +0000 UTCFunnily enough it’s been implied that Yuji does drink or atleast used to before he ate Sukuna’s finger and became essentially immune to poison so he doesn’t get drunk anymore + its not shown in the anime but when before he reunited with his middle school classmate Yuji went to play Pachinko before watching Human Earthworm 4

I was thinking about why that scene had such high tension and I think it starts with the continuous camera shot, and the buzz of the monitors, then cranks it to 11 with the phone ringing. When the phone rings it typically becomes the center of attention, even if is to quickly turn it off, so when Hakari just ignores the loud ringing. It throws the other person for a loop wondering why he isn’t picking it up, while Halari can jab with the other persons guard down. While yuji may be a bad liar, him lying about not knowing Gojo was a massive slip up.
