It's crazy to think about the unbelievable amount of impact literally every interaction you have with a child can have. Like imagining being a parent and realizing that every single concept or thing you introduce them to is going to be their first novel experience with that thing and will in some way impact their mental framework for the rest of their life. That's a huge amount of responsibility. You really just take for granted knowing and having an understanding things when you interact with a child not to dismiss but it's just so interesting thinking about how many different ways that blank canvas can end up being colored in. Like every conversation is important in its own way even if you're not putting the same amount of focus always. I'd like to think if I was a parent I would be overthinking and stressing about it so much

This is a slice of life anime with standout character work highly praised for its mature, emotional, and authentic depiction of grief and interpersonal relationships. Something to look into when the schedule needs content. It’s another show I can imagine you having very strong opinions on with a lot to say.

2026-02-02 15:54:36 +0000 UTCChekhov’s Ball Point Pen of a Rabbit From Saturn finally fires in the most unexpectedly touching way I think it’s amazing how the “children of the forest” line has stuck with you through the years and is now taking on new meaning as you think about your own child. I wonder what Isayama would think now that the line is inspiring new parents! That’s like the best any writer can ask for. Not everyone should have kids but those who should are the ones like you who’s putting in the work to understand your own biases and thinking through things as thoughtfully as you are. I don't think she recognized the -pi at the start of the slapfest scene, but it's a possibility. As Armin said (paraphrasing):"There're no "good people", that's what we call those that are of use to us at some point and one can't be of use to everyone" Didn't Junya get fired either because he took the blame for Marina, or because he is the brother of Azuma, who took the blame for the death of Marina? We're still in that timeline. The Mother also got sick because of this. And Azuma not being able to see anyone anymore is because he is going to juvie The Tokyo girls missing are Shizuka's half-sisters. We can sort-of fill in the blanks, though I'm not sure how they were found alive and Shizuka still says that she needs to check the stomachs of the shelter employees too. I like how Azuma's salvation Good-End-timeline is basically "Bros over hoes" As Heiter said (paraphrasing):"We are not ideal adults. We just pretend to be ones until we die, because children need us to be so." Umm, congratulations on the upcoming addition to the family. I guess the announcement proper was made in a different video. It's going to be very tough but the kind of tough you're happy about. At least that's the common wisdom. Best wishes.

2026-01-31 05:20:15 +0000 UTCSo Takopi’s story comes to an end, and he finally (to use that newer term again) locked in, even if it cost him dearly. I’m very glad that you enjoyed it, as it is a rough show to recommend out of the blue, but my expectations were met! Your insights were spectacular throughout, and they’ve helped me to understand some of the deeper elements surrounding Takopi’s presence and what it can mean. The fate of Shizuku’s half sisters, the two girls in the news who were kidnapped by Shizuku using the happy gadgets, is definitely brief, but seemingly positive. However, considering she concluded that Chappy wasn’t in them, there is the possibility she killed them and simply made body doubles using the transformation palette. If so, that’s another two Takopi saved with his sacrifice, but I also like the idea that Shizuku showed mercy as the weight of her deeds caught up with her. As for the theories, a lot of them surround Nnueinukf as a name. One that I’ve seen rearranges the letters to spell fukuinn-e, which can generally be used as a term for Good News, often in a biblical sense. This places Takopi pretty well in the role of an angel, or good spirit, which is fitting for your theory. The extra e may stand for Eden, though it still seems a little too vague. Regardless, it’s a great show to theorize about, so I appreciate its depth in that regard as well. The first time I watched it, I had recently been told of a fake spoiler: “Oh, is that the show where it ends with the octopus mercy killing the child because her life’s terrible?” It cast a rather dreary pall over that viewing, what with expecting Takopi to give her the friendship ribbon at the end again, but it only made the final scene that much more relieving. Being able to vicariously watch it for the first time again through your reactions without such a sense of hopeless doom was wonderful, so thank you for that! ♡(੭´͈ ³ `͈)੭ Lastly, congratulations! I wish you and your new family many blessings, and all the best! If you are anything at all like how you appear in your videos, I believe your child will do just fine.
