Because it's this close to being over for All Might, and we look around and there's just nobody left who could help this time, so we sort of resign ourselves to the inevitable heartbreak, and then "boom", Bakugou's back! But he was dead/being revived for so long, we genuinely forgot he was even an option. But whatever comes next is sure to be legendary! It doesn't hit quite as hard as Uraraka/Toga did, but it's close. Next week is one of THE MHA episodes of ALL time!

2025-10-29 00:06:11 +0000 UTCThe music playing during Bakugo's revival scene was so unlike the rest of the soundtrack, but man was it perfect. The choirs felt straight out of Bloodborne or something. The ending is also just so well done. MHA endings have historically been far from my favorite, though there have been a few good ones. This one though, from the song to animation is just perfection. There's the card transitioning into the rest of the ending, which is animated in such a fun way. Then there's Bump of Chicken, and they are always fantastic. Basically, I'm super happy with everything.

Gentle Criminal had UA stabilized and was about to jump in the fray to throw hands with AFO, but AFO shot down UA to continue to keep Gentle busy. I know Mr.EdgeLord would play it off as not wasting his time, but to me it looks like he ducked the fade with Gentle because he knew he'd get whooped. Gentle Criminal 1 - AFO 0

AFO was emotionally and no where near acting rationally but stain interfering brought AFO back to the present moment and brought back some of that rationality, with his eyes trained back on shiggy he let all might live a little longer, putting him in the position to be save

2025-10-28 01:40:43 +0000 UTCDefinitely the end of an era and devastating to watch. If you'll allow a bit of a fanfic, let's say All Might did die here. What would happen next that would be in greatest keeping with the show's development and themes? If I'm writing it, a lot of people do panic and internalize messages such as "good can never win in the long term," etc. But the students wouldn't, nor would just about anyone who has gotten explicit focus in the show. I think it drives them deeper into their commitment to the path they've been on, and I think they rally to the cause. In fact I think whether or not THAT happens, is the real make or break moment of whether All Might's symbol of peace had any significance, as opposed to whether or not AFO can win a fight.

But I think that’s a kinda outside perspective, kinda like if you were reading about this war in a history book. Like if the hero’s win this, then yes, all mights physical death didn’t not kill the symbol of peace. However, after all mights death and the hero’s get crushed, and AFO brings back the age of darkness and fear that was around for OFA users 1 to 7, then you could argue all mights death was a symbol for the death of current Herodom. Yes no one wants to see all might get ripped to pieces on air but I also think they worry because they are arriving at this junction in history. I do agree with the one guy, all mights death no matter the form, from villains or Father Time, it will be the end of an era, of the man who lifted the whole world from darkness. This show is so good man

2025-10-28 01:27:00 +0000 UTCThe name of All Might’s mom was given in the final fan book that was released in Japan earlier this year, her name was Toshie Yagi. We know that she died off screen from a villain attack, and it’s probably best we never see it. The last shots of the episode recreate the manga panels EXACTLY. Down to the absurd amount of detail. When this happened, Bakugo had been dead for little over a year of publishing.

But now that I watched that video and have seen the lyrics... 😂 I wonder if this isn't also self referential. Anpanman is a fictional hero who inspired All Might / the author, and the author created MHA, which inspired others in turn (much like All Might)

I’m astonished at how that managed to capture the bakugo and deku panel from the manga it’s absolutely beautiful, they adapted it perfectly they music they used was so for that scene was as another comment said angelic-ly horrifying but also hopeful
