As far as cameos go I guess anyone from Vigilantes would be interesting but I have no idea how plausible that is. The previous season did the character comebacks so well I can't even think of who else is left haha. I'm most looking forward to the resolution of Deku vs Shigaraki π

I love all three of them, but I used to think he was kinda bland, by design even, and the other two outshine him often. And there's no shortage of loud interesting characters in the MHA verse, so I didn't really think too hard about him, honestly. Now, I think you're right, it's not that there is nothing going on with him, it's just quiet and subtle. So psyched to continue his journey with you, this season has been great already! Personally, I'm looking forward to more CC! I think the VA is great and I don't know what it is about this cringe fail loser hero, but he's really endearing to me for some reason. Also more Pop Step, I was pleasantly surprised with how they handled the music side of things, I didn't think they'd put this much effort into it! I wanna see what else they can do! Is there a MHA character you'd like to see pop up next season, either to be fleshed out or just a cameo coz you miss them? I feel like we have to come up with a new running gag a la the Invisible Girl joke or the Nedzu agenda, like waiting for Best Jeanist to show up again or something. ;)

2025-07-03 02:19:56 +0000 UTCYeah, that whole thing about time makes me think of the main show and it's ridiculous timeline... What has it been, a year and a half at most? Maybe two, if we're generous and counting the middle school prep time before entering UA? Crazy! About the wife situation: I don't remember what the canon answer is, but it's really interesting how differently we can read that scene? Like, in Japanese, I assumed she was dead and he was kinda lying in a roundabout way about it for now until Tamao is a little more stable and can deal with it better. Because the talk with the doctor and the call made the wife's condition seem really serious and kinda hopeless. Then, when I watched the dub, I still assumed she died, but his speech sounds a lot more on the nose in the sense that he's telling it as it is (I also took "not yet" to mean she can't see mom until she dies as well). But it's really ambiguous, so maybe she is alive after all? He was talking about beating the odds before, getting Tamao back would be a good motivator, and the wife seems more lucid in that scene, so it's a possibility? I really don't know. It sure sounds like he'll be gone from now on and that makes sense for pushing Koiichi forward and Knuckles having completed his mission, but I love him, so I hope my hunch is correct and he comes back some time. There's one arc I feel he has to be there for, but I really can't remember if he actually is or not, so fingers crossed!

2025-07-02 05:37:57 +0000 UTCI'm pretty sure his wife is gone, I've seen other media say you can't see blank right now, and in this scene I interpret it as him saying she can't see her mom right now because she cant die yet not with all the life she has to live, that I am here line really got me choked up when I first watched it. I hope we get to see more Knuckle but I doubt we will but I still hope he is such a good character to only have for 13 eps I'm gonna miss this op its one of my favorites
