You're right, now would be a good time actually. I'll post it in the next 2 weeks

Totally agreed. And thank you! Everything is about as stable now as it could be given the situation 😂

I think Vigilantes does a lot of things right for a spin-off, and the narrower focus you mentioned is one of them. Like, one of the reasons I usually can't get into sequels that focus on the next generation a la Boruto for example, is that they feel the need to escalate? When they already follow a story that probably hit peak escalation at its climax. Or those prequels that feel like they need to match the main series in intensity and like they need to link everything back to it and overexplain every little thing? Like the difference between your Solo's and your Andor's, there's this secret sweet spot that Vigilantes nails, where you do your own thing on a smaller scale with moderate references to the main series that make sense. I was also pleasantly surprised with Sogo and his friends and the way things that look like one-offs keep coming back, I think it's a direct consequence of the narrower focus. It's not as big and sprawling or complicated, so there is enough time to really dig into the characters and things you do have. Excited for this arc, I really like it coz Knuckles is a fave and it reminds me of the School Festival arc I adored! Also hope you're doing ok, your life sounds crazy right now. Wish you good luck!

Hachisuka living that ultimate Airbnb lifestyle.

Yeah that moment felt like she had a thought and then something else came in and put a stop to it. It seems to be implied that the bee thing was transferred from Knuckle's wife to his daughter who may or may not be Hachisuka, who also can infect other vessels like the classmate in this episode.

So, what I like about this episode and part in the manga is that we get a peek into Knuckleduster's private life. Not only that, like you stated, these characters that were initially just troublemakers are given more time and attention. It's worth keeping in mind that we're just focused on the Naruhata area and not other places in Japan or whatever. So we have recurring characters that just kinda pop back up and it's not somebody that we haven't gotten time with. It's also worth noting that Soga and his buddies have just mellowed out and stuff after their Trigger incident back in episode 2. And because of who Koichi is, he's not hostile or apprehensive towards anybody that may have been hostile or aggressive towards him in the past. He's really just a nice guy who's friendly to those who he comes across regardless of any past history with the person. Oh, idk if anybody brought this up, but Kuin Hachisuka obviously isn't her name, but it can be loosely read or understood to mean "Queen Bee" like the quirk. But now we have like two different plots going on simultaneously. Pop(Kazuho) getting business opportunities as a performer and landing her first organized gig and Knuckleduster searching for his daughter, Tamao(lovingly called Tama) to bring her back home because his wife's medical condition isn't getting better and likely doesn't have much time left. The doctor or nurse actually told us the family name, Oguro. I ramble quite a bit on Vigilantes content because I really loved the manga and just finished a reread of it as recently as last week, so I apologize if my comments get lengthy. 😅 But one last thing. It was very brief, but it was when Hachisuka was talking about the festival with that has Pop Step in it. It almost seemed like she had a case of two separate personalities speaking or arguing about whether she'd like to go and see the event. It's worth paying attention to see if that behavior continues later on. It could be comparable to Shigaraki and All for One fighting for control over his body or mind like in Season 6 and 7. Just something to keep in mind.

Yeah I think she just called those husks mom and dad as a joke and possibly a red herring 😅 She'll have a new mom and dad soon probably, sadly

Can't wait for next ep, Idk why your streaming site didn't subtitle the song because another reaction youtuber i watch had it subtitled on theirs, the knuckleduster "boop" scene was nice and all but I cant help but feel a little conflicted because he clearly wants her to do it as bait since he said just to "let them be loud and flashy and draw attention" the ending got me real hyped and this episode made me love knuckles duster a lot more, also I think hachisuka's friend is just kind of like a husk that she controls and when I first watched this episode I personally didn't think those dead people were her real parents and I thought she's just maxing out their cards and leaving to repeat the cycle and In the sub, the subtitles had mom and dad in quotation marks. That giant crab villain was a giant turtle villain in the manga and a reference to Gamera
