Principal Asano and his backstory feel so much richer in my mind now after Koro sensei's backstory. Asano lost the goodness for power, Koro sensei traded the power for goodness. There's a critical point there that both are important but I guess the question is which one is leading and what truly matters. I wanna believe the result of this is Asano reconnecting to his roots, and there's a place for Nagisa in there as well. Plus, wait until Nagisa learns about stocks! 😂

2025-06-06 00:14:53 +0000 UTCSince it's impossible for Nagisa to be like Koro-sensei, just... physically, I like to imagine the teacher Nagisa will be is one that is more like Principal Asano... well, TEACHER Asano. cause he sorta lost it when he became Principal. Which then makes for a funny little dichotomy between our Protagonist and an Antagonist, even though the Principal was supposed to be a foil to Koro-Sensei

2025-06-05 05:42:51 +0000 UTCAlso I’m pretty sure it’s implied that Nakamura likes Nagisa. Hence the comment about poaching from Kayano. I think that’s probably also why she’s always teasing Nagisa (putting a skirt on him, writing careers like maid on his evaluation sheet, ect.)

This is one of my favorite episodes because it’s a nice mix of seeing how far we’ve come and still that lighthearted silliness of ass class. This episode to me just feels so nostalgic (also love my ships canonically sailing).

2025-06-05 01:32:28 +0000 UTCa nice little breather ep compared to the rest as we inch closer to the final episode (Only 5 left) it's interesting the way Irina goes about real attempts at romance rather than when she's working because all the experience she has with it is from her assassination so in reality she's really bad at it, it's an interesting point she brings up with maybe the world being better off ending since we know she grew up in a war torn country and then at a young age started becoming an assassin under Lovro, I see it as she doesn't want what could be trauma from watching a person they've grow to love die in front of them, like she doesn't want them to have to go through something similar to her
