A thought I had when you commented that the principal was now "the lowest form of teacher for using violence". I commented this on 1x13 (though I don't know if you saw it) but violence was specifically bad because if you are "outviolenced" then you lose authority. I doubt this is something the author thought of, but it feels funny to think that he'd immediately go kill Korosensei and prove to himself that he couldn't possible be outdone even in terms of violence and thus is still an impeccable teacher.

I also love how he puts on this tough and teasing exterior but whenever we get his inner thoughts it's always super interesting and you can tell he deeply cares for the people around him.
