2025-04-10 06:16:32 +0000 UTCThat's a good point. I think it also applies to artist names, company names etc, where if you try looking at the name objectively it has a different impact or none at all, but the name now carries the feeling of the thing in question

I've read a lot of books where I think this name doesn't fit this character at all, but then by the end of it I can't picture that character with any other name. While names are part of a first impression, in the long run the person controls the perception of the name imo.
