Does the Lumon Board also run Netflix, the BBC and Swedish TV? I've seen similar placating tactics before. The goat department could be the only section that's actually generating revenue for the company. At least milk and meat are worth something. If the meeting with the Board was a trap to get her in the car in order to act violence against her... wouldn't the guy just be able to run faster than her and get her? I don't think it was a trap.

It's pretty open-ended, but I feel like you can see how flatly the gesture falls on both of them as they keep up a veneer of gratitude. That long silent pause after the board leaves seems like a, "Yeah, I know, this kinda sucks huh?" And it's done so well.

2025-03-24 02:24:29 +0000 UTCI absolutely agree that it is a rash decision, but he also just heard something that a. should be impossible and b. he's been actively trying to avoid thinking about. Suddenly there's confirmation that your wife is alive and a person who says they can help you get to her. A lifeline that didn't truly exist at all, even as Mark was burning the message into his eyes, he didn't know if it would lead to anything or how that would play out. As you said, even if the elevator didn't reset the eye, would the Innie even notice it or be able to make sense of it? And then as Reghabi said, how is he supposed to get a message back? As crazy as it is, if he wants to potentially see his wife again, of all the options, this is the only feasible one that's been presented to him. Alright which department would you work in if you had to pick one: MDR, O&D or Goat World?
