I wish people were more honest in what they want from a partner instead of trying to mold themselves to what they think most other people want, for a wider net. It makes dating hard when you're trying to find someone who is also in your niche. For example, I once tried to find a partner who loves anime as much as I do. So I was searching where to find those people. I found various reddit posts from men about it but the comments discouraging them from mentioning anime because it's a turn off. But as a woman looking for that hobby in someone it frustrates me that a lot of options I'm never going to find.
