You're right, but also, they need to tell Korosensei ahead of time that they're going to cash in their "chop off one tentacle" reward so he knows not to reflexively dodge any attacks directed towards them. The entire premise of this particular assassination attempt is based of Korosensei's willingness to put himself at risk anyway, so there's not much point in trying to remove it now. Heck, as pointed out, the entire Assassination Classroom is Korosensei putting himself in harm's way intentionally, since he could easily just travel into outer space until one year had passed.

2025-03-11 05:36:02 +0000 UTCTheir intentions are always going to be clear but I think for their assassination to be convincing it shouldn't rely on Koro sensei's charity in any way. This one almost feels scheduled, like they're saying, "Koro sensei, your assassination is at 6pm today, don't be late." He's going along with it because he's so far above them and knows they just have to figure out the depths of how far behind they are through experience. But the kids have to be broken of the notion that they're even close or can rely on this kind of benevolent self-risk, maybe.
