Added 2025-02-01 02:00:04 +0000 UTCIn Severance 1x4, The You You Are, Mark begins the same adventure twice. Helly risks life and limb to escape. Irving flirts with higher meaning. Dylan crushes it.

That other person in the cat themed White costume is named White Tiger, and the man playing him Kamar de los Reyes passed away in late 2023 from cancer, this will be his last performance and at least all his scenes were filmed before he died.

2025-02-06 23:36:31 +0000 UTCTo answer a few of your questions (idk if they’ve been answered yet) Idt Ms Cobel is fond of outside Mark vs inside. Her being nice and sweet is just a cover to keep watch over him. She sees him at the funeral which is odd given outie Mark shouldn’t know Petey so she arranged the wellness session to see if there is anything suspicious. There is no way to exit the severed floor (as we know now) without switching, both the elevator and the stairs causes u to switch to outie( which we saw when Helly tried to take the stairs)

Your insight into it is already peeling back more layers that I hadn’t thought about. I had the same black box thoughts, re: Lost (I recently watched until the s1e8 and quickly lost interest), and Westworld.

2025-02-02 22:27:00 +0000 UTCIf I remember right John Turturro was the main advocate for getting Christopher Walken into his role in the show.

2025-02-01 08:07:29 +0000 UTCword, on ethical severance im gonna go with maybe. I don't think that severance as a concept is blanket evil. I think Lumon has ill intentions and use severance as a tool for their means at the expense of the innies. But going into the second question, what if severance was used as a rehabilitation method for violent criminals? it's certainly better than prison I imagine, but what's weird is the person you're trying to change will never actually experience any of the changes that supposedly would make them a better person. A new version of them, essentially a new person in their body, would be living that life and there would never be a reason to return to the violent side, so that original guy is basically dead. So is it more ethical to wipe someone clean and bring a new, less harmful version of them into the world, or is that worse than out right killing them? I don't know!!! but i sure do spend a lot of time thinking about it

2025-02-01 03:44:38 +0000 UTCLol no worries, it's fun. That's such an interesting idea. I'm honestly not sure. I think to answer that, I'd need a better understanding of the specifics of the split and what exactly is separated (is it just memories?) and then it would be a question of how much base personality and demeanor is responsible for the danger someone poses for repeat offenses, etc. But if that actually worked it would be amazing. What are your answers to those questions?

2025-02-01 03:29:05 +0000 UTCWould you support severing a mass murderer to rehabilitate them as an innie Sorry for the crazy line of questioning lmao I love this show so much

2025-02-01 03:16:56 +0000 UTCI guess I think it's ethical given that the second identify has all the same rights as the original. But I can't think of a situation where I think it's the right decision. It also gets messy with the equal rights stuff because they share a body

2025-02-01 03:12:17 +0000 UTCfrom what you have seen, in the world of this show, is there such a thing as ethical severance? in what circumstance?

2025-02-01 02:20:06 +0000 UTCCommented this on last episode but way a couple days late to getting around to watching it some just going to paste it here again in case you missed it. On marks car you can see that his license plate doesn't have the state on it just the head of Kier Egan and the text below it says "remedium hominibus" which is Latin for "A cure for mankind"
