I do think that when choosing an outlook in the face of unknowns, choosing a good one is more important than trying to choose a perfectly accurate one. It's trite but I guess that's the idea behind "if you think you can or think you can't, you're right."

2024-12-10 03:06:53 +0000 UTCSomething you vaguely touched on here is the concept of metaphorical truth. While something else you vaguely touched on is internal versus external locus of control. So take something like pull yourself up by the boot straps. While it isn't always literally possible to do there have been studies that show people with internal locus of control have better mental health and tend to have better outcomes in life. Therefore I see that phrase as a metaphorical truth. Also I don't like the look of this new guy, fuck him.

Also I was pleasantly surprised I thought the fourth guy would get punchy guys power, because when he first showed up everything when monochromatic to orange. The other times that has happened was with Ken and turbo granny being mono red and Aira with the silky being mono pink. But that punchy alien dude is awesome I hope he comes back
