2024-12-03 07:20:20 +0000 UTCall these slots opening up is exciting cause i've only stuck around for dandadan these past couple of months. may i suggest another pollgate, a genre specific poll and a show you've picked on your own? you could also replace the dandadan slot with what will probably be the next big shonen sakamoto days when it starts airing in january. anyways, i just hope the haikyuu movie takes priority before starting anything new! i look forward to whatever we watch next!

2024-12-03 03:28:54 +0000 UTCHonestly I think it's more impressive that the VA is able to sing the Japanese song in Japanese along with the English sections. It's less of the fault of the dub but the close captioning/subbing being bad for this. Also yes it's Nessie it's not a dub change. The anime made the face look more like godzilla than the manga did but the body is just like nessie it looks like a pleasisaur. Hence why Ken knows about her all the cryptids or urban legends are actually aliens (a actual theory irl is like Bigfoot is a alien species that uses portals or crashed and can't leave for example). And then all the yokai stories are real spirits too.

2024-12-03 03:06:24 +0000 UTCYeah I’m pretty sure Netflix just keeps the captions from the sub and doesn’t bother with changing them for dub dialogue so it’s fine if you keep watching where you are if that’s easier for you, if you have to cross reference then that’s cool all that matters is that you understand what the characters are saying😂

2024-12-03 02:45:17 +0000 UTCJust letting you know that I watch the dub on Netflix and for the mantis shrimp the Japanese singing part the subtitles were all correctly show so it might just be where you’re watching it but the Netflix works great
