So they probably naturally carry resentment toward humans. A bit of a reversal of those roles here.

Not only does killua get a wardrobe change every arc but the subtle yet visible growth in the boys leaves a lasting impression. Their arms in this arc are drawn BUFF after all that training

After encountering and being damaged by Gon and Killua’s nen abilities, he was able to gain the essence of nen. In other words, he was awakened. What’s scary is that Ramott can do the same thing to the other ants. The chimera ant situation just gets worse and worse. Another observation, the ants Gon and Killua fought were soilder ants and yet they were both quite formidable and durable. Kite tested several nen enhanced punches and kicks on the squadron leader and the ant took zero damage. The ants have insane durability, and that’s without nen! Durability is their most dangerous trait imo.
