@Antique-item - and yet plenty of people skip openings to reduce exposure to upcoming things. Including me. It's called a preference. Please don't act like anime is a religion, that there's only one way to watch something, or that the creators themselves can't make mistakes. Spoiler: For example I highly disagree with the creators' decisions with Palm and her relationship to gon. Etc. Thanks for your perspective.

2024-04-03 02:23:20 +0000 UTCIf he wasnβt meant to be seen until his reveal than he wouldnβt be in the opening :)

2024-04-03 02:15:27 +0000 UTCThe manga writers saw Genthuru and pogged at how perfect of a plot device it is.

2024-03-27 03:16:50 +0000 UTCAhh you will absolutely get spoilered with the next couple of openings about a very certain character that is clearly not meant to be seen until his reveal :(

2024-03-26 09:44:19 +0000 UTCYeah it didn't look life threatening... Definitely heal Killua first!

2024-03-26 09:02:04 +0000 UTCOh wow that's awesome. Combined with the fact that he looked like Uvogin in certain moments during the Genthru fight

2024-03-26 09:01:29 +0000 UTCI'm a bit ahead and in the moment I just decided to go for it and watch it. I think it was ok since I don't really have any context to pick up potential spoilers, the only thing I really got from it was glimpses of new characters and a very clear bug theme π

2024-03-26 09:00:41 +0000 UTCIt's an interesting experiment, but kind of extreme. There are other ways to do it that are less severe I think, like just approaching people to talk to them
Alex G
2024-03-26 08:58:41 +0000 UTCI see that explains the serious lack of healing then
Alex G
2024-03-26 08:58:01 +0000 UTCThat's funny that I actually said the limb thing, wish I had remembered

2024-03-26 08:57:44 +0000 UTCNO WAYY

2024-03-26 08:53:32 +0000 UTCI reject the binary choice of heal / not heal Genthru. Surely there was the possibility of healing him only enough to where he was highly inconvenienced.

2024-03-26 04:59:00 +0000 UTCwait guys i think... i think gon is insane!

2024-03-26 03:55:22 +0000 UTCI didn't notice the first time, but when it is revealed that Gon sacrificed his hand, the Phantom Troupe music started playing, continuing the idea that Gon would fit in with them, the right type of crazy for that group.

2024-03-26 03:07:41 +0000 UTCJust realized I can FINALLY say it. Genthuru is literally the reason jjk characters explain their abilities

2024-03-26 02:59:31 +0000 UTCBisky probably coud've helped in Killua's recovery, but she isnt exactly a healer lol. I think you're mostly right about the training process aspect

2024-03-26 02:51:07 +0000 UTCHey, so the new ark begins on episode 76, and I'm part of the group that suggests you to hold off on watching the intro for at least 10 episodes. It's a long ark so you'll get the chance after anyway. I know people have different opinions on this, but from my perspective this is a win-win because you'll still see the intro eventually, so those people will still get what they want. But if you postpone it for a bit, then the other group will also feel satisfied. What you think?

2024-03-26 02:28:24 +0000 UTCActually, you don't even need to remember this because he's irrelevant now LOL
Sunny
2024-03-26 02:03:28 +0000 UTCRemember that Genthru's countdown ability is ONLY armed once he explains it to his victim. With Genthru pre-explaining it, the conditions were met where all he had to do is catch Gon and say "Bomber" and the bomb would instantly arm
Sunny
2024-03-26 02:03:08 +0000 UTCAlso, back on episode 68 he said, "I wonder how much of Bisky's appearance is deliberately crafted by her." Forgot to point that one out on the last episode, but the answer is literally all of it haha
Sunny
2024-03-26 01:48:13 +0000 UTCActually, Goodwin's exact words were, "This kid is gunna lose limbs," when he was talking about Gon back in episode 32. Yes, I actually made a note of that because I wanted to point it out on this episode lol
Sunny
2024-03-26 01:47:13 +0000 UTCItβs been pretty clear for a while that Gon is not quite right in the head, but for an actual self proclaimed insane person/murderer to call him out on it is something else. Also, given the fact that they didnβt use Biskyβs ability on Killuaβs hands, Iβm inclined to believe itβs just not capable of that kind of healing. Iβve always looked at it as more of a buffing ability rather than a healing one, but itβs kind of a thin line anyway.

2024-03-26 01:47:07 +0000 UTCLooking at the list, I feel like I could get through about 50% through the Rejection Challenge. Maybe after I do that I'll be brave enough to do the other half.

2024-03-26 01:46:23 +0000 UTCBisky's ability Cookie-chan isn't a healing ability. It's kind of just like going to the spa and have her alleviate discomfort by massage therapy etc,, but she can't do much more. Like regrow a severed limb or heal third degree burns hahah
Mima
2024-03-26 01:28:15 +0000 UTCBroke the sound barrier when I clicked this. Yeah, when you first said the line βGon is a danger to everyone and himselfβ this exact scene was what I thought of.
