2024-01-16 09:45:17 +0000 UTCAges ago when Hisoka was killing people during the Hunter Exam, I mentioned that the main reason for the gore censorship was due to a time slot thing. It was somewhere around this time that HxH got moved to a later time slot, and so now when there is gore, you know very clearly that there is gore. I'm glad you got some satisfaction about the now dead guy being revealed to be an emitter. For me the biggest tell that he was an emitter was how his control over his Nen puppets didn't appear to be that good when we saw him use it at the mansion. Definitely not something I noticed on my first watch, but it's a cool detail.

The "public" auction (Quotations because the "public" is really only the ultra wealthy) is where Greed Island is rumored to be sold at and takes place over multiple days, a little bit later than this one. The auction the Phantom Troupe targeted was the Mafia's underground auction, which also takes place over multiple days (When they were talking about the Shadow Beast, Owl, they mentioned that all the merchandise "for that day" was in a safe) but it takes place a bit before the main auction where Gon and Killua need to go
