New month, new equipment, new style

Hi guys! So, thanks to your advice, what you wrote to me in private messages, I finally started drawing on new equipment!

The whole point was that I have an old version of Windows and for some reason the drivers, the new Cintiq drivers do not support the old versions of Windows, but if I installed the drivers that were released a little earlier, everything worked!

So, what can I say. I said goodbye to Sai, where I worked for 6 years before, now I will work in combination with two programs, Photoshop and Clip Studio. This will give me the opportunity to make art more voluminous.

Also, thanks to the new program, I paint more in the style of oil painting. Something like this:

I want to do something in between Anime style and oil painting. I've almost finished the first drawing from those who won the vote - and it looks amazing!

I can’t say that Cynthik 24 Pro disappointed me, but it feels quite heavy to use. Not what I expected - I need to get used to it.

I also decided to change the proportions of my girls. You see, I mostly drew in the style of Disney and Pixar proportions. But recently my old drawing of Captain Mizuki (on pic) caught my eye. 👀

And damn, what great proportions she has! You can immediately see that this is a big, tall girl! I don't know how to explain it, but I felt cramped when I was working on anatomy in my past drawings. I always wanted to make them taller and with a more like model proportions. In general, I'll probably give up the Disney and Pixar proportions and go back to tall, athletic girls. I hope you will not be disappoint!😁

Yes that's right. You understand me. We need more space for the breasts and butts so that the waist and long legs are still visible.

Ange1Witch

I know what you mean about the proportions making things feel "stuffed in". I tend to draw women with very short torsos and I can't seem to stop myself- it means that even the fit ones look very "squat" and I kind of run out of room when drawing- like large enough breasts make the rest of the body look small.

ScuzzBucket

absolutely agree! :)

Ange1Witch

I like this new direction, although different body types suit better different characters I think tall, slim and athlethic girls are the best

I didn't mean it at all like I didn't like it, moreso just I like both a lot.

G-Man

I meant the new style won't get complaints, pic on this post XD

🤗

Ange1Witch

Dw about it, let's hope that everyone likes it. I can't wait

Omega

Will be!...... maybe.... probably..... 🙄

Ange1Witch

Thanks 😊

Ange1Witch

Thank you! 🤗 You might like the new style, or you might not. I'm honestly a little worried! And I always listen to criticism, and if suddenly my patrons say that my new style has become worse, I will return to the old drawing technique.😞

Ange1Witch

Certainly! Believe me, you will not be disappointed, the level of thickness will increase!:P

Ange1Witch

Thank you! Perhaps you will like it, perhaps not, perhaps you will say, “what’s the difference?” :D I think I'll post a new drawing on Thursday. ^,^

Ange1Witch

t's nice to hear, but I still want to try something new. :)

Ange1Witch

On new equipment this is not at all difficult. On Deviantart you can find oil painting techniques in my early works. (Elsa, Supergirl, Silvana) I then stopped using oil style because the computer constantly froze and I had to adapt, but now I can return. Of course, you may not like it, but I always listen to criticism, and if suddenly my patrons say that my new style has become worse, I will return to the old drawing technique.

Ange1Witch

It's cool to read you can use your cintiq now. Hoping it's increase your skill. :)

pilobill

Also that style of pic is not going to get complaints from me

G-Man

Depending on how difficult it is, it could be an expansion of your skillset to be able to draw in several style.

G-Man

All for tall svelte girls.. but don't forget to give them thicc stacked shortys some love!

Primus_Feather

I will look forward to this new art style. The current one looks good as well but sometimes we have to try out something new. Good luck with your new set up
