Glorious Gilded Frames

Hi Patrons, here is an update on what I've been workin on!

Pictured above is an out-of-context frame from the animation. To avoid spoilers, I won't go into what it's about, but it sure looks nice! Here are some more by the production team:

The subject matter of each of these images is pretty random, and, tbh, tangentially relate to Story 8. What was most important was the impressions that these abstract drawings give off. 

Once all of these frames are done, they'll be available as wallpapers for wallpaper-patrons!

Progress Update

The animation for Chapter 4 (the battle) is done, except for two remaining scenes involving a lot of frame by frame FX, as well as the aforementioned abstract frames above.

A disgarded wip of the scene. We decided that a more slow impact would achieve a stronger sense of scale.

Chapter 5 is partially storyboarded, roughly 30%. I've already begun layout and animation upon Chapter 5. I anticipate swift progress since there is less dynamic action compared to the battle.

We're planning to get a big chunk of scoring work done during this summer too, so expect some WIP music in the future!

Next Speedpaint/Shortform Ideas

Help! I've fallen (into art block) and I can't get up!

I'll be surveying ideas for this month's speedpaint and/or short-form upload. Patrons get priority consideration for suggestions, so leave them in a comment, send it in the Discord Patron-Chat channel, or message me them directly.

Some seed ideas are:

• Speedpaint/Poster about an existing Duelist/RHG
• Slice-of-Life Speedpaint/Poster
• Character Dancing GIF
• Special FX showcase

No guarantees I'll be able to implement your idea, but gathering ideas is helpful either way.

Posters are in + Keychains

A batch of physical poster prints have arrived, which makes me happy. They're currently for sale in the shop! I'm also working with Kero again to design a set of new keychains, both for Story 8 and for expanding the selection of general Gildedguy merch (Lilian, Penny, etc).

Thank you to all who have already ordered some merch by the way! It's always a pleasure ship out art you can touch and feel in your hands.
