Hi everyone,
I wanted to inform you that the now 2:40 long intro is about 75% done, and we're aiming to wrap it up completely by the end of the month. This puts us at about one fifth done with the animation overall.
We are already seeing some great polished scenes come together. The visual quality is creeping back to Green-Eyed Cowboy levels!

The past couple weeks has been focused on background work and team setup. We've added one new artist to the production team (Rebonkulous) and she has been doing a superb job so far! I think we have some solid systems set up so that all the scenes are accounted for and are being worked on.

Its true value will be revealed once we hop into the main production, where there will be over one hundred active scenes to keep track of.
With the increase of giveaway events occurring in stream, I felt the need to add more variety to the minigame pool, which had Dragon Dash, Penny Picker, and Coco Loco at the time. I unveiled the newest minigame last week: "Super Gilded Knight", which plays like a cooperative top-down Zelda adventure game.

It features a tiny Gildedguy who needs to navigate a forest filled with foliage, slimes, and stairs. Yes, stairs are an obstacle in this game because every single one of Gildedguy's movements is controlled by the entire chat room. If someone types the message "up", then Gildedguy will go up one space. Multiply this with 80 people, all commanding one avatar and you have something fun.
By far, this is my most complex stream minigame, involving an overworld map, enemy AI, a pixel-art style, and a boss battle. Despite all that, it plays relatively quickly, clocking in at about 5-7 minutes per play through.
Most of the sprite art is from open source assets:

https://stealthix.itch.io/animated-slimes
As well as pixel artists from our own fan base (HandaCraz, Sugarratio).
There are plans to create additional levels and opponents from my other animations. The tile-based map system makes it easy to generate these environments quickly.

I hope you have a chance to catch a live play through of SGK in stream sometime.
Just between the patrons and the prod team, we'll be dropping a special teaser trailer during Pluto's "Doors 5" Premiere stream, which is happening next Saturday. So I believe the next week we'll be working on scenes to show off a little bit of Story 0. I want to give the public a really good first impression of what we've been cooking up since Oxob.

Thanks for checking into this update, the next few weeks will be very lively.
