Way back in the day, we did a few Class Comics Quickies, which were... VLOGS?
It was April 15th in 2016 to be exact and we were young and naive enough to think that it would be quick and easy to put together video chats of us talking about what we were up to, what would be published next, field reader questions, and find out what readers were most interested in finding out about.
In the end, we only made three episodes before we got canceled. OK, we didn't get canceled, but we realized that it took way too much time planning, recording, and editing to make a quality video.
You wouldn't believe the number of takes it took for us to record each segment without either cracking up, losing the plot halfway through, or just saying "that sucks, let's try again!"
In the end, we decided our time was best spent making comics, not talking about making comics! We were best to leave that to the experts, like The Gay Comic Geek!
However, one of our favorite bits was the "Let's go do orders!" segment. (You know, back in the era when printing was easy, mailing was possible, and tariffs didn't double the costs! 😭)
