Ancient Greek History (monkey holding candle holder that my bro bought me because it's funny), bible, old bullet journals 2. Other Ancient history books (and one Eragon book that doesn't fit anywhere else), classics 3. Uni shelf (that's about to become 2 shelves) 4. Display shelf (the corgi's name is Fry) The bottom 2 shelves are my music books/sheet music, travel guides, recipe books, yearbooks, other stuff I literally never use 😂 There are also other areas used as bookshelves because I only have one room in this house and it's a library 😂

Ahh! T - there really is beauty in the mundane though, right? It's like when life is full of dramas and big excitements there might be big shifts in growth, but it's hard to appreciate the little incremental complexities or grow in subtle ways that we need to. We need time for the mundane leaf at the beginning of Forrest Gump and the plastic bag at the beginning of American Beauty too right... (And I haven't discovered any new ASMR recently - just the tried and true medical clips.... Hey Georgette! Hope you're not getting real nightmares... 😭 I don't think I've had one since I was a kid and I had something called Alice in Wonderland syndrome for a couple of years. Have you heard of it? I don't remember mentioning the treehouse - but yes! It was something my dad built me as a kid to get me out of the house. It was in a big Oak tree in the garden, had a trapdoor, rope ladder, window, a light and power socket, camo paint... About the size of Bart's really... 😁 xx

I love how trippy this is. You're so good at making things sound natural, it's kinda cool to hear you as unnatural, unsettling. The pink Tower Audios bucket hat i ordered arrived! It's really cute and the logo is nice and subtle. Ok, so I've been wondering something for a while and the FXs audio made me think about it again. There's a scene in a Mario Puzo book, I forget which one, two actors are running lines in one of their homes and things escalate. The omniscient narrator says that both are aware their sex wouldn't look good on camera. I remembered this scene after reaching a crescendo that was accidentally louder and hotter than necessary for a solo session. It would have looked good on camera. So my question is, do you ever take care of yourself and then regret not recording it? Like, you end up sounded better than you intented and feel like you wasted it on yourself? I had forgotten about the Friday audio! It’s our last evening at the lake and I was outside in the rain wistfully arranging pinecones around chipmunk burrows and collecting bits of lichen just because they’re pretty when I heard the notification. This was the perfect perfect thing to turn “melancholy nature girl” into “dirty slut, joyfully taken by shadow Matt” and I’m considerably more cheerful now.
