I have missed being here. I am done with my PhD school for the summer in 2 weeks. I need to pay my tuition bill down before I can register again. I have a fabulous new Chair/Advisor and she has given me amazing feedback which will take some time to work through. I have never been so happy for feedback in my life and I am beyond happy with it. The non-profit has been busy and I have recently talked with a teacher from a small school in rural Mexico. She found me through a mutual friend. So much to do and it is so much fun and makes my heart so happy. I mentioned last week that I accidently created an opportunity. I created a tool for math teachers that I thought was pretty nifty and it was kind a nerdy thing but the math teachers I have introduced it to have totally freaked out. I guess it is kind of cooler than I thought. Anyway Oregon is rolling out new math teaching standards in September so I have been encouraged to finish the tool by August, copyright it, and then let it rock the K-12 math world (the rock world was not my comment). Well I laughed and just stared at them and was like WTF?๐คฏ Anyway that just was another thing to add to the already over full plate. Ask Mona I did a brain dump on her last week.
