Designing ENOCH!

Most of you have met ENOCH, by now... the CCU's new Taro Demon who was introduced in the first few pages of THE BRIGAYDE #11. I thought you might enjoy this look at the art I drew and provided BRIGAYDE artist DAVID CANTERO as reference.
When designing ENOCH, I knew I wanted him to be somewhat leaner than his fathERRRM... DEIMOS. In my mind he had the build of a cyclist or a swimmer. Also, I didn't want him quite as hairy, and I wanted him to have a "younger" look -- early to mid-twenties, at the most. But of course the biggest difference between ENOCH and dear old dad is that Junior has permanent, if not massive, dark wings.
Anyway, this was one of those designs I was happy with on pretty much the first couple of tries. I had such a clear sense of how I wanted him to look... and DAVID did just a beautiful job of drawing him in the issue.
Speaking of BRIGAYDE #11, more fabulous pages are coming up this week, and not to worry -- you'll see more of ENOCH before the issue is out.
