The four of us had always had tension there with each other. We were having a get together at their house and everyone had been drinking. She and I were sitting on the floor talking and I remember looking over at her and I immediately broke out in goosebumps. She was looking at me so intently. I felt my nipples pebble and my stomach flutter as I just stared at her watching me. I could hear the guys in the background laughing with everyone else, completely oblivious to this electrically charged moment she and I were having. She drops her voice and says "You're beautiful. I want to kiss. And if everyone weren't here right now I'd want to do more" my cheeks flamed and I sucked in a breath. I wanted to take the offer and see how soft she was everywhere. Her husband noticed us and asked if we were OK. If wet was a synonym for ok then by all means I was fine. So the night goes on and I'm cold so she lets me borrow her husband's jacket, I wear it with the hood up. Everyone is at the dining room table and he walks up to me and grabs my face and tilts my head back to kiss him. He jerks to a hault when he realizes it's me and not her in his jacket. He's yet to release my face and we're staring at each other. The room goes quiet and is watching us. All those feelings from earlier slammed into me again full force. I try to joke and laugh it off. I look at across the table to her and she gives me this smile like she knows something I don't. I had expected to see traces of anger at the least. Instead she wore the lust I felt inside myself blatantly on her face. I spent the rest of the night imagining all the ways I wanted her husband to watch me make her moan my name.

That’s interesting- I don’t know if it’s just the Kiwi accent but we pronounce here/hair/hare pretty much identically - same with ferry/fairy which confuses Brits - and porn/pawn - which has drawn a few laughs from my American friends when I talked about going to the pawn shop when i was in the US 😂
