Added 2024-07-02 13:47:01 +0000 UTCNormally, we'd share the color flats along with the finished colors in the same post, but ALEXANDER created so many fun color options for this first page of "THE LONGEST GOODBYE", that we had to devote an entire entry to them alone.
Establishing a good color palette from the start of a comic is vitally important. After all, the tones you choose will be the tones that run through the entire story. We knew we wanted this Hotel to be opulent, but also feel a touch "outdated" -- which is a big part of WHY our boys are there. In the end, all options were pretty darn lovely, but we think we chose the correct one.
