The "ma" in the name alone means horse. Hippo means river horse in Japanese.
2022-12-31 08:49:47 +0000 UTCalso, I noticed her name is "kawano Mako". if you switch 'mako' to 'koma', it means 'little horse/foal'. so 'kawanokoma' can mean 'little horse of the river', and 'horse of the river'='hippopotamus', I guess this is where EDMOL got her name from XD
