A celebration, a remembrance, and a future (and links)

With FET coming to a close it feels only right to say a few words about what it’s meant to us. 

When we began FET, there was nothing quite like it. A game of its size and magnitude was simply unheard of. We sought to pioneer and explore, to learn, to follow our guts, listen to your desires, and strike out boldly. We knew there were others like us out there, hoping for great care and romance and gaming together, but we never expected it to become what it has, and we are awed and humbled that our work is as cared for by you as it is by us.

With FET's conclusion, we’re looking forward with deep, humming excitement. We’re thrilled at the prospect of creating new stimulating and cutting-edge mature games, visual novels, and dating sims that continue to shake up and progress the field with seductive, lighthearted, and mosaic adventures.

FET has been a deep learning experience, with ups and downs, trials and thrills. We’ve grown and gained skills that we’re eager to invest in new projects, in ever-new ways.

Our best is ahead, and we’re deeply grateful for every bit of support, encouragement, passion, and help you poured in as we made the best game we could. But more than that, we are deeply honored that we get to create experiences with you, and for you.

A fire is lit in our hearts at the prospect of a new horizon, and we will once again burn down the old ways and set sail into uncharted waters. We are explorers at heart, and we want more, and different, and better, and we want you to have it too. We have always sought to make FET a game you could support with pride and enthusiasm.

We'll be working on a patron-only reward to show our appreciation for all of your engagement and enthusiasm, and to celebrate the end of a landmark chapter and the beginning of an even bigger one. Simply to start with, this post has the links to the latest version, for every patron to enjoy. 

But this celebration and remembrance comes with a measure of contemplation, and it is with a heavy heart that as we discuss our plans to cement the future, we also take off our caps and salute FET for the journey she gave us, and set her ablaze with tears in our eyes as we gently send her into the abyss, with our favorite Scottish Fire Nation guards singing Danny Boy in heart-wrenching fashion. To be certain we can stay a creator on Patreon for years to come, continuing to make more and better games, we will be slowly removing old posts and links, so anything you wish to keep you’ll need to download now. 

We are, and will always be, proud and grateful for what we’ve been able to accomplish with FET, and it will remain forever in our hearts with true fondness and love. Marty is still considering making his own version by himself in the future, and we may remake FET someday right here. This means that while FET has reached its satisfying conclusion, and will soon no longer be promoted here, it doesn’t mean it will disappear; it will simply no longer be an official MITY project, and we will be slowly removing it from our page in the coming days as we create and develop what comes next. Though we may still post some FET related art from time to time :)

Again, we will be removing old posts and links, and jumping straight into fresh development with tremendous enthusiasm, so anything you wish to keep, you’ll need to begin downloading now, before it's gone.

An ending is the opportunity for an incredible beginning, and that is what we aim to achieve, and we hope you stay with us, supporting and talking to us about what you want, what excites you — and we will respond by listening, and creating, and surprising. We celebrate FET — what we've learned, where we've been, and where we're going. It's all thanks to you that we're even able to create fun, unique, and varied games, and we will only grow from those roots.

We’ll likely begin with 18Titans first and then discover where else we’re going with some guidance from you in the form a poll/survey.

The idea of creating a new project has lit a fire under us in a way that feels wonderfully fresh and joyful. We’re still discussing what it will be, but juices are flowing and we’ll be reaching out to gauge your interests. 

We love you in an absolutely, unquestionably erotic way, you horny golden-hearted legends. What comes next will be red-hot and tailor-made to suit your own hearts and genitals :)

I honestly can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am. A brand new adventure?! Are you kidding me?!
