Update: I F**KED UP
Added 2022-07-06 20:09:25 +0000 UTCSo recently, the place where I have my dayjob bought the entire Adobe CC suite. That's great, I thought. So I installed it on my home computer a few weeks ago as part of my working from home.
Only it turns out that Adobe CC scanned my computer and determined that my copy of Photoshop CS6 was illegitimate and illegal (IT'S NOT, it's just old) and they threatened to delete it within 9 days. Naturally I'm a bit panicked as that's what I use for art.
So, I try to uninstall CC. No can do, I have to uninstall every individual program which uses CC to operate. So, I frantically uninstall them, and finally remove CC itself.
Then the other shoe drops... CC took CS6 with it. And I can't reinstall it myself without help from my tech savvy friend... and I'm abroad.
Before you ask, no I can't use Photoshop CC because it saves to a cloud, one which my coworkers and bosses have access to. So that's too risky.
I can't open any of my works in progress, and I can't continue work on Predator in the Wilderness. I can start new projects and commissions thanks to some freeware I have, but ongoing stuff, the things I did before? All on hold until, minimum, the 12th of this month.
Ughh...
I'll post again tonight as promised but this is a setback to say the least.
