If you want to know why output has been slow, here's what my last week been like:

Last Saturday's model got the date wrong, thought it was the following Saturday. A few days later she injures herself training for the shoot, and it's been pushed back another two weeks.

The model for the following Saturday also injured herself, more seriously. Her shoot's been pushed back six weeks, and probably longer. Several have had covid, of course. Another had covid and then a car accident. A model I've been trying to get into the studio for months is finally almost ready, but wants another two weeks to really polish her moves.

This happens every. single. week.

It was always like this, to some extent. You can't work with humans without accepting that sometimes their plans will change. But with all the global bullshit it seems like everyone's closer to the edge, and the bullshit just never stops. Not for any of us.

Because business is so slow, I've been trying to get more project shoots happening. Ideas and creative things where no one pays, because I go a little fidgety when I'm not shooting. And these shoots get canceled even more often, because if there's no money on the line it's not as big a deal. I guess.

Anyway, I did this yesterday. Some new lighting gear in the studio, which worked exceedingly well. There's a few more of these in the queue.

I do have another project shoot next weekend, and two great bodies will become available in the next week or so, but yeah. It's frustrating, and I'm sorry.
